Digidesign ProTools

Digidesign ProTools is a industry standard software studio geared toward the project studio and professionals. It is both powerful and very comprehensive in its feature set. ProTools empowers you to record, arrange, mix and master your music. It also features advanced MIDI sequencing with a small library of instruments, loops and effects. ProTools is a Mac only program, which means that it only installs and functions on Apple computers.

ProTools in the Classroom

We teach ProTools in our all levels of our courses. However, we feel that it is best suited to advanced students in our Level 3 & 4 courses as it is a very deep program. We use ProTools to teach intermediate and advanced sequencing, editing, arranging, mixing and mastering. ProTools is also well suited to film audio post production and surround mixing. For students who wish to attain a professional skill level, ProTools can be a total solution for their audio production needs. Other students will want to expand their knowledge and capabilities with some of the other software tools that we teach.
