Course Description

What sets this course apart from any other training is that we will teach you how to use your studio as a creative musical instrument rather than a mere technical tool. Precursor instructors are professional producers and engineers who are actively working on projects, which also serve as class examples. We specialize in teaching the cutting-edge production techniques specific to each genre of music that you wish to create.

Prerequisites

• Level 1: The only prerequisite for this course is a basic knowledge of how to use a computer.

• Level 2: The prerequisite for this course is successful completion of Level 1 or equivalent knowledge. It is recommended that students have produced and arranged at least one full song or instrumental prior to entering this course.

Technical Requirements

• A computer

• A high speed internet connection

• Music production software such as Reason, Record or Reaper.

Prior to each course session, an intomusic.ca representative will contact you to ensure you are properly equipped for the course.

Fee

$500 per course.
