Course Description

Level 4: Professional Audio Production - definitive training for anyone who wants to achieve that elusive, professional sound. Whether you are a serious hobbyist or aspire at becoming a music producer professionaly, this course will teach you to record, mix and master music just like the pros. Training is provided in your choice of today's leading high-resolution studio environments (DAWs).

What sets this course apart from any other training is that we will teach you how to use your studio as a creative musical instrument rather than a mere technical tool. IntoMusic.ca instructors are professional producers and engineers who are actively working on projects, which also serve as class examples. We specialize in teaching the cutting-edge production techniques specific to each genre of music that you wish to create.

Training occurs in our state of the art facility. Each participant is trained on a computer that is set up as a fully functional music workstation. Students who obtain this certificate are eligible to be apprenticed with professional producers in Precursor's studio practicum program.

Prerequisites

The prerequisite for this course is successful completion of our Level 3 course or equivalent knowledge. It is recommended that students have produced, mixed and mastered at least one full song or instrumental prior to entering this course.
