Course Description

Level 2: Intermediate Audio Production - essential training for both hobbyists and those aspiring to become professional music producers. This course builds upon the rudiments taught in Level 1. Learn to exploit Reason's intuitive yet powerful interface to give your music a more sophisticated edge. Training is also provided in your choice of today's leading Digital Audio Workstation, where an introductory exploration of essential mixing techniques empowers you to create high-quality mixes of your music.

What sets this course apart from any other training is that we will teach you how to use your project studio as a creative musical instrument rather than a mere technical tool. IntoMusic.ca instructors are professional producers and engineers who are actively working on projects, which also serve as class examples.

Training occurs in our state-of-the-art facility. Each participant is trained on a computer that is set up as a fully functional music workstation. Students who obtain this certificate are eligible to take Level 3.

Prerequisites

The prerequisite for this course is successful completion of Level 1 or equivalent knowledge. It is recommended that students have produced and arranged at least one full song or instrumental prior to entering this course.
