Sound editing and mixing are key skills in the audio post production process. Upon completion of a film, the separate assets of Foley, sound effects, score and soundtrack are combined to form a seamless whole. Learn the techniques that professional sound editors and mixers use to accomplish this task

6. December 2011 - Stereo to surround

Many independent filmmakers view surround audio as beyond their reach. This seminar explains the predominant methods of creating a surround-sound mix from mono and stereo film audio. Learn to retool film audio into a 5.1 surround mix in major surround formats such as Dolby Digital and DTS.
